Picador

"Simon and I wrote this back in about 1992 I guess. We'd been out drinking the night before and Simon had crashed at my flat the night before. When we got back, we'd plugged the guitars in and cranked them up to full. I'm sure the neighbours weren't too impressed!

Simon had pretty much completed the whole track, and I think we just messed about with the middle 8 and wrote the words. He already had the chorus.

The song itself is based loosely on "American Psycho" which we'd both read and loved around that time, which is why the track is called Picador - the book is published by them." - Anthony, 11th December 2000
