Drive Faster

"Jo came up with the idea for this track. We recorded the verses and the choruses and then found out that the track was too short, so we jammed for a bit and stuck the end bit on, which I really like. I like the singing over the end too, which I tried to make sound like an old Temptations kind of vocal.

The track is basically about a girl who gets a buzz from driving up and down roads at night wearing just her underwear. But, she takes one trip too many and gets killed in an accident! Nice subject matter, eh. The chorus 'drive faster' came to me when I was walking down the street, and the rest followed." - Anthony, 9th December 2000
